alrighty! i've received my HOT ROX and i'm ready to burn off some fats. starting TODAY, the diet will decrease to a single ham sandwich and a single fruit jelly. ALL the carbs must buuuuurn in the furnace and from now on, the heat is OOOON!!!

WELL! turns out the show has finally become perfect! everything went according to plan - although we had one fainter :P. the parade went off without a hitch - i think the drummer got screwed hard enough to make him remember WHEN to double-beat LOL. and the show afterwards was well executed.

 

so we were fooling around at the end of the show, and what happens? the speakers start playing Adam Sandler's "Grow Old With You", and pictures pop up...i was like WTH?? at the end...."Will You Marry Me?" OMG!! the whole stadium erupted into cheering and "MARRY HIM!! MARRY HIM!!" haha. turns out the lucky lady was sitting right in front of me! good placing, seeing as how she'd be near medical assistance :) anywayz. he drags her down to the track where he GETS ON ONE KNEE and proproses in front of his whole unit!! haha...and what do you know, she accepts :) he's doused with water, carried on shoulders, all that. haha got it on video too, although i won't share it, and if the guy wants it, it's available from me, just ask :)

 

we got to go home early! unlike rehearsals where people are still around at 2300, we were cleared to leave at 2159 (i think). first time out of the stadium w/o a TRS set - felt soooo good :) haha.

 

IT'S ALL OVER!! no more rehearsals, no more going to stadium on sat, no more sunburn and sitting there stressing out 'til our backs ache :P. all that's left now is to see the offs come in :) then i can spend, spend, spend!! relax every friday until ORD or somethin HAHA. lalala!!

 

met up with christine - so cute in her uniform. there were a whole bunch of motivators dancing on the field, so she ran off to join them, and i tagged along to see the whole group dancing haha. it was pretty cool. but all in all i think they had fun. crazy ppl.

 

AH WELL. 2006's birthday bash is over, and 2007 will be on a floating platform! interesting...don't think i'll be available to see it though :P haha i'll be STUDYING IN AUSTRALIA! hopefully the internet broadcast won't be as crap as this year :P the quality of the streaming was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!! will have to find a better source haha.

ndp no.7: what the hell! this is, without a doubt, the BIGGEST waste of time. there wasn't even a full run! the stadium was almost completely empty - most participants were gone by about 6 'cept for SSA, who ended at 2130, and yet we were there 'til about 2230! i guess this is a touch-up rehearsal, seeing as how ppl were still messing up. SSA did a spectacular job, though. they were like 99.99% there. awesome, when you see all those ppl working together.

 

there was a fireworks display! it was awesome. i got a few shots, but they weren't too good. ah nmind, i can still take photos some other time right? :) anyway, there were the huge ones, little ones, and they made new ones that shoot fireworks AFTER they were fired...awesome...seriously...

 

and the next day i went to ubin w/ my family! and family friends! haha got to meet up with maryann, whom i haven't seen since...well...last year at NDP! haha she's the girl in the photos of last year's parade :) damn she looked great haha. totally hot. anywayz, we walked about for 10 mins-ish, then it RAINED! and rained and rained and rained...by now, sane ppl would have ducked for cover, but nooo....we kept walking! ah hell i just walked along and got soaked, it was quite nice! then it stopped raining. oh man, that sticky feeling you get after being in the rain - ARRGGGH!! pissed me off so badly. lucky i didn't get bitten too many times by mossies - maryann got quite a few big ones, i'm pretty sure her bug repellant was attracting them LOL. *note to all: do NOT use Johnson & Johnson's bug repellant lotion*. haha :D

 

*sigh* this week is the last last last show i'll ever be involved in. ah well, all good things must come to an end right? and there's OFFs!!
